BUV GP ELASTOMERIC 2K GOLD is a two part acrylic polymer modified elastomeric water proof membrane which consists of BUV GP ELASTOMERIC2K GOLD white powder and BUV GP ELASTOMERIC 2K GOLD acrylic emulsion. BUV GP ELASTOMERIC2K GOLD can simply
be applied by a stiff brush, or trowel to obtain the desired thickness. BUV GP ELASTOMERIC2K GOLD provides a seamless, waterproof coating suitable for use in water tanks, reservoirs, swimming pools, roofs and to ensure water tightness.
BUV GP ELASTOMERIC2K GOLD complies with the requirements of the following standards: BS 6920: Part 1: 1988 ASTM C 29 ASTM D 638-02A
The entire surface which is to receive BUV GP ELASTOMERIC2K GOLD must be free from oil, grease, wax, dirt or any other form of foreign matter which might affect adhesion. The support to be treated should be thoroughly wet prior to application.
BUV GP ELASTOMERIC 2K GOLD supplied as Part A and PART B part. Part B poured into a clean container. Slowly add the powder to the liquid and mix at (3:1 ratio) using a slow speed drilling machine fitted with a suitable paddle. Do not mix more material that can be used within one hour. The appearance of the coat will be a creamy coat, which can be applied with a brush. Apply the first layer with sufficient thickness to cover the holes, cracks, etc. The approximate consumption will be 1kg/m2. Allow 3-5 hours apply second coat per pedicular to the first coat. Apply second coats in order achieve the required thickness at an average consumption rate of 700g-1Kg/M2. It is recommended that each coat should be a minimum of 1 mm thickness.
BUV GP ELASTOMERIC 2K GOLD is supplied in 20 Kg unit as A Part and B Part and it has minimum shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored under cover, out of direct sunlight.
